If source device is Windows PC or laptop and you are not receiving (or intermittent) sound at the receiver (Television, monitor etc) double check Audio settings in source.

Right click on the speaker icon located in the system tray on the bottom right corner next to the clock.

Select (left click mouse) ‘Playback devices’ from the pop-up sub menu.

Select the appropriate receiver as default device. Some other device might have be preselected.

You should start receiving both Video and Audio at receiver (Television, monitor etc.).
